Anyone else think that this debauchery is crazy? So what she took a picture of herself… Yes, she has cleavage. So what. Even if it were intentional of her to look provocative, my argument still stands. So what? I think it’s a great picture. Even sexy. And, in fact, as a heterosexual human, it is in my nature to think that way. Get a grip you far-right Conservatives. It’s almost 2010. Sheesh.

Introduction/Quick Thoughts

My name is Blake Gates and I have long prided myself in the knowledge that I have gained through the very short years of my very short life. I am currently 22 years of age but I feel considerably older. Which, you start to feel that way when all you surround yourself with are people sometimes much older than yourself.
Something else that brings me happiness? Entrepreneurialism. Nothing else gets me more excited than the idea of owning businesses and watching them flourish. Well, not necessarily “watching” them per se. I like to be involved. I also believe that the modern free-trade world needs more younger money-makers and more younger politicians and policy-makers to really make some changes that are going to be good for the commonwealth of the people. Not the commonWEALTH of old politician’s wallets. Do we really need or want a 70-year old man or woman that’s been in Congress for 8 terms to decide what is best for this rapid, ever-changing-dot-com point in time that has become known as the Information Age? I sure don’t. I can say this; I know that my Grandfather is definitely NOT the person I want in charge of running my life. It is not fair to them and it is not fair to us.
…. Whew. That was close. It’s my very first post/introduction and I’m already off on a tangent….
I’m looking to accomplish a couple things here at my blog…
- To shed a new intellectual and young “light” on the likes of the government, business, and politics. Something I believe this country needs very badly.
- To make people aware of certain changes, whether good or bad, that is happening across the United States and the rest of the World in the aforementioned categories.
- To give insight on what it’s like to be a 22-year old successful entrepreneur.
